The New Moon on the 15th March is in Pisces. It could be a time where you may be feeling a little more sensitive than normal to the energies of others around you. If you have children, you may find them being a little more demanding than normal over this phase. It may be a time where you may feel that you need some space to yourself as well. By doing any leisure activities, or doing something that is a break from your normal routine , would do much to counteract any negativity.

The Full Moon on 30th March is in Libra, in conjuction to Saturn. It may be a time where we are forced to make some decisions about the direction of which our lives are travelling. If an unsatisfactory relationship needs to be addressed, or a career issue needs to have a change of empasis, whatever decisions made over this phase should be very important to pave the way for the coming months. Travel is also highlighted, so if you are thinking of going away for an Easter break, the trends are looking good for you to have a very uplifting time.

When you are worried, fearful or stressed out, it can be more difficult for your guides and helpers in the spirit world to communicate to you. It can be like a fog that blocks the clairvoyance, or at the very least could distort the messages.

A dictionary definition of worry is ” To be troublesome to, to disturb the peace of mind of, To give way to anxiety. Mental uneasiness” To be Anxious is a “Troubled and uneasy state of mind”

In my research in the past, I discovered that the word worry is derived from a German word ” Worgon” meaning to choke. The word worry then developed to mean mental strangulation. I believe that worry has very little positive effects and can strangle the life out of you.

Fear is described in the dictionary as ” an unpleasant emotion caused by nearness of danger or expectation of pain. I once heard a really good acronym for fear:

By clearing your mind with regular meditation or any other relaxation techniques that may work for you, more peace of mind can be achieved and your connection with spirit can be improved. It is also very important to ask for protection as well , to keep away any un wanted influences. This can apply both to :

a) only wanting spirit communication from a higher authority, to those who want to spread knowledge of the light

b) Often sensitives can be also very sensitive to the energy of others around them, and can be like a sponge sucking up negative energy. Say for example , if a person was in a depressed mood, the Medium could also pick that up from the aura too and may feel depressed without realising it.  Visualising a cloak of protection around you, keeping the aura strengthened, and sending negativity towards the light are all methods that can control this.

Laziness, apathy and passivity can also hinder growth. When I teach in development circles I always say to my students ” Have a go at giving a message and you are half way there”. Quite often, Spirit communication may be a little abstract as they are using telepathy to communicate, so by speaking about what you are feeling or sensing, it will help you improve the delivery of your messages. For example, once I was giving a reading and I saw Tommy Cooper flash through my mind. This could have been interpreted in so many ways, but I just intuitively listened to what my mind was telling me.

I said , I feel that I need to say the name “Tommy ” to you. The lady that I was then giving a reading to burst in to tears of happiness, and said that Tommy was her husband , that passed away last year.

I would say, from my own experience that sending out Loving thoughts before I do a reading is a very powerful way of attracting the spirit world in. By dropping the Ego , the ” Look how Brilliant I am approach”, and having humility works best. I always say that we can not heal a fly or give out any clairvoyant or mediumistic information in our own might. We are just channels for higher authorities.

 General Trends to look out for over the next four weeks.

1) FULL MOON in Leo on 30th January. It it will be a positive time for socialising and going out and having fun. However, it is in opposition to Venus, so watch out for conflict in personal relationships, it may be a time to keep a low profile.

2) NEW MOON in Aquarius on 14th February, and also the day of the Chinese New Year. It may be a time of letting go of the past and opening up a new chapter in your life. Any form of socialising is likely to be positively highlighted, so if you are going out for the evening on Valentines day, you are likely to have a good time. Personal relationships may move to a deeper level of commitment.

3) FULL MOON in Virgo on 28th February. It may be a time of looking at problems and working out solutions. A time for going within so any form of creative pursuits would be beneficial.

On February 14th , the Chinese New Year Begins. 2009 was the year of the OX, which was about regaining stability. 2010 is the year of the Tiger. The year of the Tiger will be about change.

The element associated with this tiger year is Metal. This should indicate positive changes with any financial situations and improved luck. If you have been looking for a change of career, or to make a business investment for the future, this may be a good year to implement plans. New Doors of Opportunity may open and it is a good year to take risks.

On a National Scale, who knows, but this may mean a change of Government in the UK. If this does happen this may create a feeling of more optimism in the country as a whole. There may also be positive signs this year that the negative economic cycle is ending and the UK may be emerging from recession.

The Tiger year could be a year of dynamic progress in all aspects of your life. Change may happen in personal relationships and friendships. If you have been in an unhealthy relationship or friendship, this may leave your life this year to make room for a new and more positive situation to evolve. However, alternatively, an existing healthy relationship could move to a deeper level of commitment and contentment.

On the whole, my interpretation is that whatever happens this should be a very positive and pro acive year.

The Sun is in Scorpio during November so it should be a good month for tackling any problems head on and getting them resolved. Venus also enters Scorpio on 7th November , which is likely to throw love and relationships into the spotlight. Any feelings of hurt from the past could now begin to heal , and with the supportive trend of Saturn now in Libra, personal relationships should now move to a deeper level of commitment. If you are not in a relationship at the moment, it is also possible that you may meet someone new over this phase.

On 15th November , Saturn in Libra squares Pluto in Capricorn which could bring issues of work, career and Business to the forefront of your mind. It could be that you have been feeling dissatisfied for some time and this aspect agurs well for preparing to make new changes. The New Moon in Scorpio on 16th could spark the beginning of luckier financial times ahead. There should now be less struggle and more optimism for the future. If you are thinking of following a new career path, by taking decisive action around the Mars/ Pluto conjunction on 27th November, a new path should be ready to start by January 2010.

The Full Moon on 2nd December is in Gemini, which could bring positive new social contacts. New connections could cross your path now on the same wavelength as yourself , which could be a very mentally stimulating time. It may also be a period of time where you have lots of things going on at once so you may have challenges balancing out your time. The New Moon on 16th in Sagittarius is also in conjunction with Venus in Sagittarius. It should be a positive phase for any form of travel and expanding horizons over the festive season. 

There is also another Full Moon in Gemini and a Lunar eclipse on 31st December. Therefore, any issues that were unresolved on the first Full Moon should be resolved by the second one. The past will then be cleared away which will then allow for a re allignment towards your goals and objectives into 2010.

The Moon is in Scorpio for the Easter Weekend which may bring out deep emotions in personal relationships. You may find yourself having deep and meaningful conversations with loved ones in order to gain emotional strength. If you are having a challenging time economically at the moment, a hug may soothe away the stress.

On Monday the Moon Shifts into Sagittarius so travel is highlighted. If you are planning to go out on Holiday Monday , the trends augur well for you. This 48 hour phase is likely to be quite an inspirational time and you may be full of new ideas for future plans. If you have been feeling disillusioned with old outmoded ways of doing things, now is a good time to make some changes.

On Wednesday and Thursday the Moon is in Capricorn. There could be heavy work demands over this time, which may just be simply catching up with tasks from the Holiday weekend. Taking some time out for yourself and doing some activities that you enjoy may help take your mind off things.

On Friday and Saturday with The Moon in Aquarius it should be a good social time. If you are going to a party , attending any gatherings or meeting up with friends , you should have a really good time. It may also be a good time for learning something new, so if you have been thinking of taking up a course of study or even just reading a new book, it will be an excellent time to do it.

I often get asked when doing readings ” am I really in love”

To know whether you are really in love is not the easiest of questions to answer. What may seem like love to one person may only infact be no more than an attraction to someone. If you know someone that seems to fall in and out of love quickly it may just be lust. This is a very powerful feeling but generally of a sexual or physical attraction nature.

True love in my opionion is based on commitment, friendship and trust, and is so much deeper. I think that if you are in love with someone you have your best friend by your side and you feel physically attracted to them as well. You are both interested in each others happiness. Being in love should make you feel so good and on top of the world.

I often get asked when doing readings what their partners mean when they say ” I do love you but I am not in love with you”. Being on the recieving end of these words can cause confusion and devastation. However, in my opinion they are only code words for ” I am not sure that I am ready to have a relationship with you at this moment in time.”

As a relationship matures it will move through different stages and the feelings of excitement of the past when the relationship began, often get confused with how they are feeling now. In essence the feelings of love, in all probability are deepening rather than fading as the relationship moves into a different phase.

Major life changes which may provoke high levels of stress in a person may make them confused about how they feel.

A very effective way to deal with this situation is to step back out of their space, while they work their feelings out. It could be that their real problem was that they are unhappy at work, but are confusing that with the relationship. In the cliche ” absence makes the heart grow fonder”, by having a short time apart from each other and not communicating for say two days or a week can be really healthy on the relationship and the feelings of true love can be renewed.

It will give the both of you time for reflection and gives time out to see how you or they feel about one another. If the “absence makes the heart forget” then at least you both can move forwards from each other and have a mutual respect for each other before it leads to any kind of resentment. You can then remember the positive memories you both shared. However, you may have just become incompatible in some key areas. It may then be worth going to Relate and getting counselling on the relationship together.

On Friday and Saturday the moon is in the dynamic sign of Aries. This is likely to be a very dynamic time and a time of rapidly achieving short term goals. The lunar energy of this phase is also supported by a conjunction of Venus in Aries, which could spark a very romantic time too. If you are not in an existing relationship, who knows, someone new may cross your path! The only challenges around this time are to try and keep a cool head on if you can as others around you may get short tempered which could lead to arguments.

On Sunday and Monday the moon is placed in Taurus. It is also Squared to Mercury, Mars and Jupiter in Aquarius. This could indicate unpredictable occurrences that may create insecurity and instability. A Very effective way of handling this phase will be just to get out into nature and perhaps take yourself out for a walk. This may get you out of feeling like you are in a rut and will be very relaxing. However, financially everything augurs well for this cycle.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, the moon is in Gemini squared to The Sun in Pisces. This could be a time of making dreams a reality and communicating what you want out of your life to those that matter. There could be a lot going on at once over this period. It will be a good time for socialising, travel and any type of study.

On Thursday and Friday the Moon shifts into Cancer opposition to Pluto in Capricorn. There could be obstacles on the work front and it may feel like you are swimming up a stream. Time spent with family members will be very healing at this time as well as any reflective conversations of past happy memories.

Over the weekend the moon is in Leo, so it should be party time! It agurs well for any entertainment activities, love and romance. It should be quite an extroverted time with positve expression of the emotions favoured. The Moon is also in opposition to Jupiter so any travel activities or expanding of horizons are highlighted.

On Sunday 8th February , the moon is in Leo which may have a very creative energy for the day. It may be that you decide to get out those paint brushes and start painting something from either a picture to doing some re decoration in the home , cooking a new dish that you have never tried before, writing a poem or even just playing a musical instrument. Whatever you may decide to do in a creative sense today will allow your mind to drift towards visualising a new future that you may want to create for yourself.

On Monday 9th February there is a Full Moon in Leo at 14.50 GMT. There could be conflict in the air around this time with others around you or those in authority being self centred and un cooperative. This may lead to frustration or arguments. However, the best probable way to counteract this energy would be to step back from any stressful situation and either do something fun or try not to take the day too seriously.

On Tuesday 10th and Wednesday 11th February , the Moon is placed in Virgo. This may be a very hard working time and may even be a demanding time where others around you may expect perfection in everything that you do. It will be an ideal time to re evaluate your objectives and carrying out any long and short term planning. Any activities where you are organising yourself in a different way are likely to be highly favoured at this time.

On Thursday 12th and Friday 13th The Moon is in Libra. This should be a good social time and getting out and meeting new people. If any important decisions are demanded of you during this phase , you may actually decide to step back and think about things until another day as either way may seem uncertain. It is also possible that other people may knock you off balance a bit around this cycle, so it may be important to just stay focused on your goals.

On Saturday 14th the Moon is in Scorpio which should agur very well for a very passionate Valentines day! It is likely to be a time where very deep feelings can be expressed easily so love and romance is highlighted. If you are not in a relationship, it could be that someone that you did not expect could express their feeling for you. If you are in an existing relationship, your feelings for each other should move to a deeper level.
